This course is designed for students already acquainted with three-dimensional design principles. In this class students will be introduced to the tools, techniques, and language of working with clay. Through a blend of lectures, demonstrations, and active studio engagement, emphasis is placed on problem-solving using clay as the primary design medium. The course explores traditional hand-building and wheelthrowing techniques, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the expressive potential inherent in clay.
Prerequisite: 3DD 1304 or CER 2240 (DRF 1301 is highly recommended)
