This seven-week intensive workshop is designed to open students’ imaginations to the possibilities of materials outside of traditional ceramics. Over the course of the workshop we will experiment with mixtures of clay components and frits to discover their sculptural applications. No ceramic experience is required. We learn from each other during the weekly discussions, and the course evolves, exploring the students interests.
