AW599 Watercolor: Exploring Color Themes
This three-session watercolor workshop will focus on exploring color themes within the three different class sessions. The workshop projects will primarily focus from working from still and landscapes. The students will have the opportunity from setting up their own still-lives or working from photographs that they have collected. After working with the basic primary and secondary based color systems, they will continue their research studying both analogous and complimentary color compositions. In the last class meeting the class will discuss and practice using split-complimentary color schemes, using either a still-life or a landscape approach. This is a great opportunity to really study watercolor using various color themes.
